We utilize the Pallet Design System (PDS), software that is available exclusively from the National Wooden Pallet & Container Association. Initially developed in 1984, the PDS software has been at the forefront of cutting edge research and development in partnership with Virginia Tech and the U.S. Forest Service.

PDS allows us to design a pallet taking into consideration loads placed on the pallet, service environment, packaging and trip use so that your pallet optimizes cost, durability and truck or container load out configuration. We take into account what you’re putting on the pallet, your end user requirements and can even engineer pallets from reclaimed lumber rather than limiting your options to just new wood.

As a PDS licensee, we are now certified under the USDA’s BioPreferred program. The BioPreferred program helps increase the use of biobased products and to create new jobs, prompt economic development and provide new markets for farm communities.
